Abbruzzo is an ancient region, rich in history, art and archaeological sites (amphitheatres, monasteries, churches).
Home to a rural society which has kept it’s traditional patrimony intact through costumes, culture and typical festivities.
It is a varied territory which stretches from the sandy coast of the Adriatic Sea to the green fields of the Maiella and on to the snows of the Gran Sasso with a warm and pleasant climate from spring to autumn.
This region possesses a great culinary tradition: from “maccheroni alla chitarra” (typical pasta) to lamb kebabs and superb extra virgin olive oil to the famous wine, “Montepulciano d’Abbruzzo”.
